Katrina Mittelstadt

Inspired by her attendance at an aviation camp for high school ladies Katrina took flight and never looked back. She earned her private pilot certificate while still in high school and continued her professional training at Minnesota State University, Mankato where she completed her degrees in Aviation, Professional Flight and Geography. During her time at MSU, Mankato Katrina was a first-time counselor in 2008 and has been involved since. Since 2015, she has helped coordinate our week as the July ACE Camp Director. Katrina has a wealth of experience from which to share with our students from her background as a certified flight instructor, corporate & private aircraft pilot, aircraft sales intern, regional airline pilot and in her current role as a Denver-based 737 First Officer for United Airlines. 'My favorite part of ACE Camp is sharing my experiences in a way that inspires the ideas in our student's minds to come to life in a real and tangible way. We not only share in the joy of all of the students first experiences but then show them the path and provide them the support to go after their dreams.' Katrina lives in Evergreen, Colorado with her husband Andrew Mittelstadt.
